JLT receives Prison Team Award
John Laing Training staff received the Team Award from The Governor at a Full Staff meeting for their ongoing commitment to quality vocational training and their partnership working with HMP The Mount, FTC and Milton Keynes College. The Governor has added that the Area Manager was fully supportive of the work being done by John Laing Training staff and that they were a credit to JLT and The Mount. He praised our instructors as being a credit to JLT who are seen by The Mount as an integral part of The Mount's future....
"The award this month goes to John Laing Training who were nominated for their fantastic work in increasing and delivering quality vocational training qualifications that offer prisoners the opportunity to gain employment on release. The staff are highly motivated and put in numerous additional hours and effort in running a successful vocational training course. The Area Manager has been highly complementary of the work that is done by the John Laing staff in workshops 7 and 4, which is a great example of partnership working. "
